...has said, as far as I can tell, three things in his most recent post.

1. The government of California won't allow home schooling and that's bad. The government should allow people to get an education however they want, provided they /do/ get a decent education.

We all /agree/ with this, Mark! We even said so already.

2. If people do get home schooling, then it's not fair that they should still have to pay for public schools.

We /don't/ agree with this, Mark, but we have already presented our arguments for why we don't agree with this. It's essentially because the education of every American citizen benefits /all/ American citizens and is therefore the responsibility of /all/ Americans. You contradict this by saying "for the government to forcibly redistribute income to [educate children] is unjust", yet you fail to address any of our arguments in favor of public education. In fact, you fail to provide any arguments in favor of your own position!

3. Public education doesn't work.

Half of the time you add to this "We need to 'phase out' the system because it doesn't work" which of course I believe is incorrect. I have already presented arguments for this.

The rest of the time you add to this "We need to fix the system so that it does work". This, of course, I believe to be correct.
