How about teaching our kids that having sex is not a right afforded to every physically mature human but a privilege that comes with devoting ones life to a spouse? There is a life-long commitment involved and when someone can accept the responsibility of supporting/relying on another adult then children become a more reasonable proposal. It's not just a moral issue. There is some reasoning behind abstinence.
