The point that was trying to be made is that in starting a family, one must take into consideration whether or not taking care of the child is within one's means. This should not be limited to financial standing, however. One must also consider your emotional, psychological, physical, social, and religious situation and stability(of course some may not apply to all potential parents). Having a child is a great responsibility and is not something to be taken lightly. I do believe that everyone should have the opportunity to have a child if they are physically and emotionally able to do so. Also, there are programs to help parents without financial means to support their child fully. However, before bringing a child into the world(intentionally, anyway), some sort of preparation and planning should take place.
