Most of the people in my family (aunts, cousins, uncles, etc.) view Thanksgiving as a day of FOOD, FOOD, FOOD! Very few of them really take into consideration the true meaning of the holiday. But anyway, the food IS pretty good, except for my aunt's devilled eggs, which I hate with a passion. There's always a turkey (slightly over-cooked and, if you don't get dibs on the first pieces, usually a tad gristly). I usually make a chocolate cream pie and banana bread with my mom, and of course Thanksgiving wouldn't be Thanksgiving without pumpkin pie. LOL. The guys of the family (namely my dad, brother, uncle, and cousins) usually plop in front of the television, screaming as loud as they can so their football team can hear them clear across the country. Heh heh, I remember when I was in grade school we used to make Indian headbands and pilgrim hats to wear...sadly, I actually wore them home.
