What is your political philosophy? posted by MarkN on Saturday, November 11, 2000, at 17:50:31:
Thank you for the link. Of course, you can't reduce either of these topics to a quickie quiz, but I found the religion one very interesting; some of the questions were a good starting point to clarify some of my beliefs to myself.
I got a result of Mayahana Buddhism for religion...hmm...I would have thought some form of Christianity would come out for at least the top ten on my list. On reading the description, I doubt I'll be converting to it any time soon, but I guess I must have a number of beliefs in common with them. It was amusing to see that Roman Catholicism (the religion I was brought up in) was way down at 28%.
Politically, it says I'm a Centrist, although I couldn't answer that quiz as accurately. There were some questions I didn't get (eg I have no idea what the "school vouchers" thing is about) and others I probably see from a different perspective. I guess "Centrist" is what you get when you choose the "no opinion" button too often. :-)
