What exactly does this phrase mean, anyway? I know that if a person "CAN'T shoot fish in a barrel," it means he can't do something even a stupid person would be able to do. So what does "DON'T shoot fish in a barrel" mean? "Don't be stupid"? But I don't think that captures the nuance properly.
