> Gah. You guys make me feel old. I've been hanging around RinkWorks since before there was a forum... March of '98 was, I believe, when I first popped in. My first forum post was number 173 (for comparison, the one I'm replying to is 25317 [note to Stephen - shucks. Should have been 23517 ;-}]), and I like to think I've gotten a lot less annoying since then. Hey, I've grown a bit in two years, and I've gotten to know everyone a lot better. I remember being one of the staunchest opponents of RinkChat in the original discussions - I was afraid it would quickly degenerate to the level of the common internet chat room, and attract a crowd we really didn't want. Sue me; I made a mistake. :-}
And that's the way it would be, if Sam had little or no administrative power. Then again, I don't think he'd *have* a chat room without such. Remember the "fudge" man? He, or someone with his level of intelligence and/or maturity has found another chat room which I frequent because the regulars are nice. I'm sure the webmaster would bar his return if she could; however, it would involve purchasing the full version. So, we 1) mentally ignore him, or 2) click his moniker, then Ignore. Then he's reduced to the paging feature(an feature which sends a harp chord as a signal that someone wants to get the attention of the recipient) to annoy us. Little does he know, I was forged in the pre-op days.
> Anyhow, happy anniversary to Ticia and BG from one of the "Old Men" (I believe Unilynkikipeggette one referred to us as "staples") of RinkWorks. :-} > > Dar "Dirty Old Man" ien
