Art and English are more interesting at the moment; I went to Tate Modern yesterday (a huuggge art gallery in the middle of London for all those unfamiliar with the London art scene)and had great fun. There's a Mark Rothko room which is extremely great and stuff by Kurt Schwitters and Jasper Johns- genius! Plus, I had a good time on the coach on the way home, pretending to be 13 again. We waved to lorry drivers and ate mucho amounts of sweets. Ahhh, it was great.

But we walked past on the way to and from the Globe, and we plotted how to get onto the cool bridge in front of it... it was closed then. Is it still? Have they figured out how to reopen it?

I find the story of that bridge very amusing. The British government shelling out bucket loads of CASH for a bridge that will probably never be opened because it is structurally unsafe. Bit of a shame because you are right and it is VERY cool. I too plotted how to get onto it. Did you know that at at night it's supposed to light up because of these fibre optical thingys down the sides so it looke like you're walking on a beam of light?

Liz"you are so right but I don't want to walk on it if it means a plunge in the icy cold Thames"zie
