Actually, the projects been shelved a while due to school, but, well, I figure that you can all have a look at how it's going so far. It's supposed to sort of me a meld of Fantasy Quest and Angband.

It can be found at can_o_trash@hotmail.com until November 10th, 2000, as that's what I use for webspace. The password is 'junk'. Unfourtunatly, I couldn't get the QBASIC compiler to work, so the program is still in .bas form. You can get QBASIC from the link below.

In order to run the program, be sure that it is in no folder with a filename greater then 8 characters and run 'config.bas'. One it's configured, run 'program5.bas' and select 'Demo' from the list of games. You can also play with the map maker if you want. It uses the same engine.

And yes, you can save and load your game if you are so inclined. And no, I didn't program inside the house yet!
