I must be weird. Believe it or not, I've solved a Rubik's cube three times without cheating. (This from the person who still hasn't finished Fantasy Quest or Story Hunt!) However, I have never tackled a unique Rubik's cube that my mom owns. It's octagonal and is three levels high. Not only do you have to get it back into the right shape (no easy task, I assure you), but you have to get all 10 colors in the right places. And yes, my mom has solved it twice.
