> What is the scariest movie you have seen and why did it scare you?

Probably "Silent Rage." This movie starred Chuck Norris (ha ha!) as a local sheriff who has to fight a raging homicidal maniac who cannot be killed. Some of the things that scared me:

-the raging homicidal maniac (RHM) never spoke a single line of dialogue in the entire movie! That really freaked me out.

-the RHM gruesomely killed a LOT of people! (I don't generally watch horror flicks, so graphic violence bugs me a lot)

-the RHM KEPT COMING BACK no matter what they did to him! He was shot (as in RIDDLED with bullets), stabbed, drowned, burned, and thrown through a glass window nine stories up, but he NEVER DIED.

-Chuck Norris' acting. IMHO, only Keanu Reeves is worse.

Alien 3. The incredible amount of profanity in this movie shocked me too badly for me to be scared by it. (Alien 3 was the first "R" movie I saw in a theater.)
