Fox and it was actually supposed to be funny... but i couldn't sleep that night, adn had trouble doing so for a few nights after. It still scares me sometimes. i'm scared by any horror movie I see a preview for or even HEAR about.

The Michael J. Fox movie you're thinking of is probably "The Frighteners". It's actually not a bad movie, definitely worth renting.
