The scariest/most disgusting movie I have ever seen is Dee Snider's Strangeland. I'm not even going to say what it's about...it was sick, disgusting, and just plain WRONG.

Beside the point, but I got seriously freaked out the first time I saw The Elephant Man. I was about eleven or so, but when I saw it again a few years ago, it made me cry.

Any movie that is based on a true story or is about something that could really happen stands a chance of freaking me out. The Green Mile, for example, was terrifying, thought-provoking, and heart-wrenching, all at the same time.

I thought The Blair Witch Project was going to be scary, but it wasn't. I said this a while back, but any half-wit can make a nothing film with an expletive five times in every sentence. I will never understand why the movie was so popular...unless, of course, its popularity was due to the fact that so many people thought it was real.
