You made me remember when, about two years ago, here in Milan a squad of firemen died in a road crash. They were rushing somewhere after an emergency call when for unknown reasons (maybe a tyre blew) the driver lost control of the truck.
Further checks revealed that the call was a fake.
When it comes to stupidity, there's no difference between countries.
