I've never had a close friend die, but I can imagine how you must be feeling right now. My grandfather died of cancer about halfway through my freshman year of college. I remember how awful that was, and we knew it was coming. I still miss him. I've never had someone snatched away without warning like that.

When my grandfather died, one of my new friends at school advised me to read my Bible, especially Psalms,as I was preparing to leave for the funeral. It helped me a great deal to get through the grief.
