A few years ago, we had long distance service with a place that only offered something insane like seven cents a minute. We kept getting phone calls from companies asking us to switch to them 'cause they offer the low low price of only eight cents a minute. Then I told them what I'm paying.

Back in college, the various phone companies would actually send us money to switch phone services. One year, my roommates and I switched long distance companies about ten times.
