The party went off really well. We started off with Phantasm and that was easily the hit of the night. The movie lends itself well to many viewer comments, a la MST3k. We still want to know how Michael got his shoe back from the dwarves.

We followed that up with She which, while providing plenty of laughs, was just a painful movie to watch. Plenty of groans to go along with this movie. Dave's review of it is right on, the movie just doesn't make much sense.

By the time we put Jack Frost on, we were starting to fade, but it was definitely another bad one. I enjoyed reading Dave's review again after watching it. The funniest part of the movie was when the sheriff was reading the death threats he received from Jack Frost. The letters were cut out from a magazine like a ransom note. This would be good if he wanted anonymity, however, each note also had the name, "Frost," cut out and added to the end which made the entire process pointless (the sheriff would have known, either way).

We only made it halfway through Destroy All Monsters before finally going to sleep. But all in all, a good time. Who knows if they are still my friends, though.

> Well, tonight is the night. After being inspired by Dave and Sam and reading many reviews, I am throwing the First Annual Bad Movie Party at my place. Unfortunately, it can't be a RinkWorks event, but I am having some friends over and am hoping they understand the fun of a bad movie. I'm guessing they will. All of my choices for movies came out of IABBBBM so I figure we will have fun. The movies are She, Jack Frost, Destroy All Monsters, and Phantasm (couldn't find Sinbad). Who knows if we'll make it through all of them before we implode, but we'll try. I already started getting ready last night by catching the last half hour of American Ninja, a movie well worth reviewing (I could probably write a good review just on the last 30 minutes).
