> Bruce Coville wrote the "My Teacher Fried My Brains" series, so nope...that isn't her. I haven't read any of her books, so I don't know what kind of stuff it is...at amazon.com it says she incorporates humor into her writings, but I couldn't say how you'd classify it.

I've read a few of her books. There was _Dogsbody_ which I liked a lot. It was about the personified heavenly body of Sirius, who loses something important on Earth and has to take the shape of a dog to go find it. There was also _The_Ogre_Downstairs_ (I think) about an ogrish stepfather who gives the kids chemistry sets that give strange results. That one was ok. Another was _Cart_and_Cwidder_, which I don't remember too well. About a traveling musician family in which the boy discovers special powers he can bring out in his music, I think. It was a little strange. My favorite, which I've read over and over, was _Charmed_Life_. That one you just have to find out for yourself what it's about. ;-)
