Most of the books (the Del Rey versions, at least) have a listing of the books inside the front cover or by the bas tard title (sorry - writing that as one word gets me yelled at by the content checker) or some such - that's the order they go in. Try reading "A Spell for Chameleon" - it's extremely different from, say, "Harpy Thyme."
