Marmite has a strange characteristic, in that people either love it or hate it - there is no in between. Personally, I love it, but would be interested to hear what others think.

People either love or hate things like olives or anchovies -- I personally detest bottled green olives -- or they even love or hate people like Don Cherry. (i.e. the sportscaster who dresses louder than Mr Bean, not you Don :-) But perhaps you can humour me, anyway, and offer your honest opinion here. To wit: are you going to say that gooey salty Marmite is better than something like THIS, which has rich and subtle flavours at the same time?:

"KALAMATA TAPENADE: a thick lusty black olive paste, from Provence, France. Made of delicious kalamata black olives... roasted red peppers... olive oil... capers... onions, & sun-dried tomatoes. The perfect spread for crusty bread, crackers, or fresh veggies. Divine."
