Wow, I just read the From Dusk Til Dawn review. It must be as bad as I thought it would be. I only suffered two minutes of the movie while changing channels -- the part when all heck breaks loose in the bar.
What really got me was the shot of the band during the general mayhem. [WARNING: POTENTIALLY GROSS THING IN THE FOLLOWING SENTENCE BUT THE WAY IT WAS PORTRAYED IN THE MOVIE IT WAS REALLY STUPID AND FAKE LOOKING AND WASN'T GROSS AT ALL.] There was one quick shot of a vampire playing a guitar made from parts of a corpse. My first thought was "Why would you build an electric guitar out of a torso?" I mean, it can't sound that good. And what was the vampire thinking before the pandemonium ensued? "Man, I can't wait until we frenzy! I'll pull this bad boy out and really rock!" Didn't any of the non-vampires notice the guitar on stage? Didn't the rocker have to tune the thing up before the set started?
I changed the channel.
