Thank you Paul. But it is important for Superhero realities to keep things constant. Which DC and Marvel do most of the time.

They do sometimes deal super powers in a diffent way. For instance, Marvel's Quicksilver, their super speedster, acts like an arrogant jerk most of the time. Why? Because his metabolism is so much higher than everyone else. Unlike the Flash he dosen't 'Turn on' his super speed, he has to concentrate to go slow. He is constantly frustated with everyone, because to him we all move like sloths. I belive it has being behind a person who has forgotten their pin number at the ATM machine, for your entire life. I think stuff like this, the psycological impact of Super powers is more interesting that the physical impact.
