I remember reading a story about a boy who "borrowed" his eccentric neighbor/scientist's Time 'slowing' device. When he took the opportunity to plant a kiss on the girl he had a crush on, it turned out to be (when he turned the machine off) the equivalent of punching her in the mouth.
