...I don't know the title of the movie in question.

Allow me to explain:
I have greatly emjoyed reading all of the Reader Reviews on the "It's a Bad Bad Bad Bad Movie" site, to the point that, I belive, I have read every single one. At long last, I decided, the time has come to contribute to the hall of shame.

I know of a fantastically horrible movie that I saw several years ago, complete with cornball acting, lousy special effects, and ridiculous lines. However, I cannot remember the title, so I can't post a review.

This is where you all come in, readers. I'm going to describe my memories of the movie as best I can, in the hope that someone will recognize the movie and tell me what it is. Then, I can rent it from the video store, watch it again, and post a more thorough review.

Here goes (My memories may have blurred over the years, bear with me)...

The basic premise of this movie is that there is an evil alien running around on present-day Planet Earth, and a Good Guy alien cop teams up with a human partner to stop it.

This evil alien passes undetected (until know) by killing and inhabiting a host human body. It becomes extremely well-protected while living in the body, sustaining far more damage than any ordinary human being could, until the host body is finally killed. At this point, the alien exits, and can only be killed once-and-for-all by a special little raygun device the Alien Cop has, before it takes a new body.

This is explained by the Alien Cop to the Human Cop toward the middle of the film, after some events have transpired.

My memory of the beginning of the film is very vague, but I think the Alien Cop takes human form and comes to work at the Human Cop's police station. From there, the human cop is mystified by the alien's strange behavior. There is a scene somewhere where the AC is having dinner with the HC's family (wife and adolescent child), and HC asks AC if he has a wife. AC says something that I think implies his wife/significant-other/mate was killed at some point by the Evil Alien.

At some point, they also first encounter the EA, who is possessing the body of a stripper. EA meets up with the AC, recognizes him, and says something like, "No. I won't go back. I'll kill you first," with a fake deep voice.

AC and a bewildered HC run after EA, pummeling her with bullets but without her dying, until the stripper's body is destroyed. HC is angry and confused, and yells at AC, saying "I want to know why it takes 15 shots to kill a zonked-out stipper!"

Things get vague again in my mind, but at some point AC explain who he and the EA are, and they run around for awhile, having violent gun battles where lots of hosts get destroyed but AC and HC escape without a scratch. Finally (in some gov't building, I think), HC gets shot in the stomach and goes to the hospital. AC and EA continue to run around.

There's some respected Senator that's running for reelection or something, that we've been hearing about since the start of the movie. So, EA ends up possessing him, of course. The climax of the movie is AC running into a press room, while everyone including the guards stand and gape, and torches the Senator with a flame-thrower. He falls down charred, and FINALLY the guards pull out guns at AC. However, then they stop when the EA crawls out of the Senator (first time in the movie we've actually seen EA- looks like a huge worm). AC pulls out his raygun, fires a beam aof animated light at EA, and it dies.

AC then goes to the hospital, where HC and his family have been, and finds out that HC has just died. He then goes into the hospital room alone, and in an ACT OF SUPREME SELF SACRIFICE, shoots a beam of light from his mouth onto HC. AC dies, and HC comes back to life, to the joy of his family. The End.
