As a British university graduate myself (Graduated 1992!) I hope you have an amazing time. I did a four year thin sandwich course which meant six months at Uni, then six months at work experience for three years, then a full fourth year. Also known as six months learning, six months earning! I had to move every six months, but coming back to Uni every September was great. Catching up with friends, getting the gossip etc. I hope you make loads of new friends. I did, and I am still in very regular contact with most of them eight years later.

Of course, the internet was still very young back then and most of the workstations at my uni were AS400 or something like that, but persevere and let us know how you get on.
