Friends of mine in college had a phone number where the last 4 digits spelled out TAXI. This number was only one digit different than Tipsy Taxi, a service of the University to pick up drunk students so they didn't drive home from the bars. They constantly got phone calls from drunk people on the weekends. Most of the time it was funny but it did get old after a while.

Fer"Ellmyruh should know what Tipsy Taxi is, but hopefully not because she was drunk"rick

> This really 'rings a bell' with me as I live in a place where somebody used to run a small business from home. Even now 4 years later I get calls for them. I have too much fun letting them down or playing along and promising the earth to change the number. Besides, yellow pages seem to have caught on and removed the directory listing.
