When my family moved to Italy (for me this was half way through fifth grade) we had to give our dog Peggity to my Uncle and Aunt. We lived in Southern California, they lived in Pheonix Arizona. So one weekend my father and I got into the car along with our little fur ball (Peg is a Suiz-Tu (an asian breed, I have no idea how to spell it), they look like a mop with a mouth, and alternate between being happy exicted frisky to seemingly drugged or asleep). It was a long quiet trip, she road on my lap. I really missed that little puppy, we had her for only a little over a year. I was the one who walked her, I took her to training school, and I was the one who cleaned up after her...wait I didn't miss that last one. Anyway she did get a good home, and now has three little girls to play with (one not even a year old). I just want to say I know what you are going through.
