And being from Oklahoma I was determined to call him Jo Bob or Jon Bob. But we went through a lot of girl names before settling on Jillian Rose. Rose was Shannon's grandma's name, so that was a given, since we lost her last year. And we have a running "theme" in our children's names. They have to have the initials JRS... Janessa Raelynn Stacy, Joshua Randall Stacy and now Jillian Rose Stacy. So the task was trying to find a "J" name that matched well with Rose.

This practice of giving children the same initials does not seem to be as unusual as I once thought it was. I had a friend whose initials were DRB. Her sister and dad had the same initals, and her mom was DSB. Well, her sister got married to someone who also had a D name, and they continued the practice. Meanwhile, my fiance, his sister and his parents all have the initials of SC. (The middle names aren't the same.) They've had numerous pets over the years, and just about all of the animals had S names, too. I guess it's not just an Oklahoma thing. :-)

By the way, congratulations on the new baby, Dracimas! Her Paw-Paw, brother and sister look like they won't mind spoiling a cute little baby at all. :-)
