I'm not sure, I missed that bit - I was doing something else while waiting for the NZ team to come in, when my attention was drawn back to the TV by hearing that hilarious comment. It was one of the earlier alphabetical African nations like Gambia, I think.

The most wonderful sight in the team entrances was when North and South Korea came in marching united under a new flag. I still can't believe I saw that. I remember the Berlin Wall coming down in '89, and now this. Awesome. :-)

The second most wonderful sight was the three guys from East Timor marching right at the end, just before Australia's entrance, with no flag or national uniform and announced as "Independent Athletes". They obviously couldn't be accepted officially, but they managed to get there, and everybody knew what that meant. That's worth as much as a gold medal.
