I worked at UNC's Chapel Hill Student Book store this summer. In the regular (non-test book) section of the book store they had posters from last years 'baned book week' (a week celebraiting banned books). The posters had pictures of famous authors who have been banned though out history. Socrates, Shakespeare, and, get this Moses.

Yes Moses. The Bible has been banned for in some communites, not for seperation from church and state, but because it has scenes of violence, depravity, and scenes that are unsuitible for children. I had to read the poster a second time to be sure I wasn't seeing thing.
