Well, maybe your dentist felt that having an overbite that would get you commited/shot/termed 'in season' would be detrimental to you.

I didn't know you could die from local anesthetic. I do know that if you still feel the pain, *you need more anesthetic*. Don't just sit there and live with it. Demand more.
Oh, and fruits contain a truckload of sugar.
