If you like first-person shooteresque games, get Half-Life (go to Sierra's site for updates). If you buy the Adrenaline Pack edition, you'll also get the Opposing Forces add-on, which plays the same game from Half-Life, but from a different perspective.

Also go to www.counter-strike.net and get the newest version of Counter-Strike (an add-on to Half-Life). CS is a cooperative team-play game, where you're either a terrorist or a counter-terrorist. Games like Unreal Tournament or Quake 3 Arena only have one goal: Kill Everything That Moves. CS' goals vary from game to game. "Real" objectives are present in Counter-Strike: Depending on the scenario, counter-terrorists must rescue hostages, prevent the terrorists from bombing a location, protect an assasination target, or capture escaping terrorists.

Fun fun. It's like buying two games for one price.
