Welcome back!

>I read Kingdome Come (excellent), The Kingdome (why did they make this?),

This was made to [a] capitalize on a very good mini-series and to [b] undo everything that was "fixed" with Crisis. Say hello again to Earth-2, Earth-3, Earth-S...

>Final Night (lame)

The thing I hated about Final Night is the coda with Batman. First you've got Batman (I think it was in one of his own titles) saying that even though Hal Jordan did what he did, Batman would never be able to forgive him. Then the writer in the actual Green Lantern title had Batman saying that he'd be able to forgive him. Both issues came out the same day. Isn't this what editors are supposed to pick up on?

Meanwhile, I've been trying to collect some back issues of Thieves & Kings, an excellent b/w comic that is a superb marraige of prose and art. I've got all three collections, but am trying to pick up the individual issues after the third collection (I'm missing about four issues in that run).

Unfortunately, that title has so much happening in each issue, if you miss one or two -- well, it's not like missing a few issues of Captain America. Most of the issues have about three to six pages of simple text (maybe some spot illustrations like an illuminated manuscript).
