I go away for two days and the forum gets absolutely stuffed with new posts.

(Another 1000 miles on business, but I won't go into that now)

Kids are about to go back to school here and I am both glad and sad. Glad because it will stop them hanging around in the street by my front garden and using it as a rubbish bin. Sad because the roads will once more be filled with cars driven by people who have never gone further than the end of the road since the day they passed the test and have no concept of roadcraft whatsoever. Also, why do people who live in the middle of cities fell compelled to drive monstrous 4x4's when the closest they ever get to off-road is the driveway?
