Not all Americans, Dave. Even with the over-priced alloy wheels and the basket-handle spoiler on the trunk, my Toyota still looks pretty tame. It has the four-cylinder engine so it sure ain't fast by today's standards. But it doesn't break down, it doesn't rust, it's quiet and smooth and the gas mileage is in the mid-thirties. Those are the qualities that I look for. I also like cars that are still reliable at 200,000 miles. Fast, hot-looking cars don't fill the bill for me. My age doesn't have anything to do with it. I've been looking for cars like that since I was 22.
But fast hot-looking motorscooters -- that's another thing!
