Now you've gotten me to thinking. (It rarely happens.) Can you really say "American cars" any more and expect anyone to know which ones you are talking about? My Toyota truck was made in California and my Toyota car in Kentucky. My son has a Ford that was made in Canada. I know a guy with a Mexican Volkswagen, and I passed a Mercedes-Benz plant in Alabama yesterday. My daughter used to drive a Honda made in New Jersey. I guess that Ford is an American car. Canada is still in American, isn't it? I think I read somewhere that Renaults and Fiats were made in India and Vespa motorscooters are made and sold all over the world.
