In GotA, there will be a "Win the Game" option, which, if selected, jumps players to the end. But it's a hidden option, you see -- obviously it would have to be hidden -- and so you don't get to see that option unless you first select the "Enable the 'win the game' option" option first.
Okay, that's a boss idea and all (huh?), but isn't it just somehow more appealing to have a super-weapon of some kind, say a Vulcan cannon/RPG combo with unlimited ammunition, in a game where everyone else has a dagger? Then every screen has all the normal options, plus the option to use your Vulcan cannon:
* Talk to the orc warlord. * Bribe the orc warlord with your bag of gold. * Sweat profusely. * Vaporize everything in sight.
The "vaporize" option could make for some hilarious over-the-top comedic scenes, and I think it would be a hit all around. Players who appreciate the intricacies of the plot I'm trying to weave into this AGL design can abstain from use of their Vulcan cannon/RPG and play through normally, while those that don't much care whether the lead villain is capable of reform can simply level his entire fortress on the spot and dance on the ashes. Something for everyone.
