I remember reading somewhere that the real reason Frank Miller wrote _The Dark Knight Returns_[*] was because he suddenly realised one day that if he didn't do something soon he'd be older than Batman.

Yes, but he's got an unfair advantage - all those superpowers and stuff.
There's no need to be depressed unless you're not making the most of the abilities you do have.
