Dave was right. It was "Prince of Space" though there was a sequel (or maybe Prince of Space is the sequel -- it's impossible to tell from watching the movies, sadly enough) called "Invasion of the Neptune Men" where the Prince of Space (the "Your weapons can not hurt me!" guy) was called Space Chief instead (thus adding to the confusion of the fact that the two movies are *somehow* related). Both are utterly hilarious, with or without Mike and the 'bots.

An interesting note: in Prince of Space, despite the fact that weapons ABSOLUTELY DO NOT HURT the Prince of Space, he still jumps and hides from them...
