Example: A few years ago, the speed on California highways was 65 miles per hour. They raised it to 70 because everyone was already driving 70. They said this would make it so that less people were breaking the law. So, now that large chunks of freeways have a posted speed limit of 70 mph, what is happening? People are driving 75. I suppose they should raise the limit to 75 next time.
