Actually, my first thought after coming out of the movie was about how the Messiah stuff was really blatant (in the Matrix). There are a lot of comparisons you can make, and a lot of contrasts too, and sometimes it's even fun to discuss such things. But I won't do it here. Sure, it's entertainment, and you can just sit and watch it, and that's fine, but you get more for your money if you play with it in your head afterwards...
