The news promo for that night had the chipper newsreader saying "Sad news about Alec Guinness. Details at ten."

Why don't they just announce that he died instead of saying they had "sad news"? I mean, are we supposed to be expecting a news story about Sir Alec Guinness losing his watch? Geez. If they are trying to hide the story to get more people to watch, why even give the man's name? And why didn't they call him Sir? Gah.

I hate my local late night news.
