Hey, I've seen an orca up close and personal. Well... okay... there was this big glass wall separating us and holding in some water for some reason. Oh, and it was a celebrity, too. Perhaps you've heard of Keiko? Yes, that guy... and yes, Keiko is definitely a guy... I've got a photo to prove it. Anyway, he was very impressive --huge, graceful, majestic. It was just shortly before he got shipped off to Iceland. What's funny is that my daughter, who was about 3 at the time, would tell us that she didn't want him to go to Iceland for months after he already had. Kids are funny.
