Am I the only one who hated The Fifth Element? I thought MST3K could have done a great job with it! After I saw it, I commented that it's nice to know the Women's Lib movement was just a fad of the twentieth century. And Bruce Willis knows how to play exactly one character. And for a "perfect" woman, Leelu sure sucked. The ONLY saving grace of the movie:
I had a cell biology professor from somewhere in Eastern Europe, so she had a pretty strong accent. She talked about a kind of protein that passes through a membrane several times. It's called a "multipass" protein, and (you guessed it) when she said "multipass," she sounded EXACTLY like Leelu. (It was also the only saving grace of the class.)
