Hah. No, it's not really true. You *don't* go blind in total darkness if you were borning seeing, and people suffering from sensory deprivation and/or lack of sleep (like at exam time) can begin to hallucinate after a period of time as little as two days. Just goes to show you can't trust ev-er-y-thing you read on the web.
