I'm willing to bet that you'll be take that break first. Programming really is a long process, and debugging takes even longer. Besides, I'm sure that you'll need the occasional silliness that Rinkchat provides (I certainly do).

I was actually considering making an AGL game myself not to long ago. Since I'm going on vacation soon and since I'll be going back to school fairly soon after that, I wasn't sure if I would be able to finish the project (and wasn't quite willing to go beyond that point of no return). I am still trying to make the game though, but I'm making it in QBASIC. Of course, this involves making my own AGL-like engine (with some extreme modifications; I'm trying to make a game that is a combination of Angband and Fantasy Quest). My brother and I are both working on this, and we hope to make our own "Trainer" before we go on vacation. It'll be tough, but that's the fun of it :-)

Anyway, I wish you luck on your project and look forward to playing the game when it's done.
