Awww...! Well, seeing as how Jacqueline vastly prefers to vacation in chillier climes than we are accustomed to "down heah," I'll have to run the idea by her and see what she thinks. I believe she's mentioned once or twice that she'd like to visit Canada, so we'll see.

I'm constantly puzzled by that very thing. Many Iron Chef episodes feature several jokes by the commentators that are based on word play in English, so I've been assuming that it's not at all a direct translation of the transcript. I'd like to know whether the translators make an effort to insert an American joke whenever an untranslatable one appears in the original Japanese, or whether they take lots of liberties and more or less rewrite the whole thing, only loosely adhering to the transcript.
