Please tell me "shall" and "shan't" aren't Briticisms. I love these words and use them whenever I can. It's HORRIBLE that they aren't used by standard people anymore. I'd be crushed to know that my beloved words of yore are actively being used in a dialect whose usage in America I detest. Please don't tell me I've become all that I seek to drive away.
