Heh, that reminds me...
Until this year, the exits in Georgia were numbered sequentially. However, this year they were changed so that they corresponded to the nearest mile marker. What used to be exit 42 on I-75, for instance, is now exit *135*.
Now this is all great, and it does make it quite a bit easier to estimate trip distances and the like. But one problem still remains. Although it's been about half a year since the change took place, there are *still* billboards out there on the highways which advertise the old exit numbers. I can imagine the confusion many tourists must experience while driving through the state...
