Between nursing my knocked knee back to functionality... and the sudden funeral arrangements... and having to shuttle Pixel back and forth to the vet for vaccines and to get her stitches removed... and designing and printing up a Children's book... and us going off to [Warning: the following content may not be suitable for certain viewers called "Dave"] to, uh, spend 3.6974223+ HOURS BUILDING A FLAMIN' GAS BARBECUE for my brother-in-law just a FEW WEE SCANT HOURS AGO. Ack! We didn't bother leak-test the fuel line, but figured if there were any fireworks we could always launch the Bar-B into the Pool. Also happy anniversary everyone... you know. Sam, you have a decision to make. You show up here on Friday night, and I feed you boring Coq au Vin or some such. Show up on Saturday, and the moment you step through the door, I whisk you off to a birthday party for a SCREAMING three-year-old with a NEW FLAMIN' GAS BARBECUE. Your choice ^_^

Gotta warn you though. I hope you don't mind that when you get here, my place looks like a bomb hit it. Barely have time enough to hear myself think. Like, for example I've desperately wanted to set down and write some serious replies to Iss' nanotechnology posts and gabby's, regarding the deeper human aspects that come to mind. But now I'm so late to reply to those threads I wonder if anyone EVEN CARES at this point, *sigh*. And now it's just late, and I'm just... blurrgh.
